Pretty in the Panhandle (PIP) is a regional lifestlye blog founded in April 2010 by local freelance writer, Richele Cole. From Fashion & Beauty to Home & Garden to local event coverage--PIP is your guide to all things pretty in the 4-state area.


About Richele Cole

Richele was born and raised in Falling Waters, WV. She is a 2000 graduate of Hedgesville High School and  a 2004 graduate of Washington & Lee University, where she obtained a B.S. in Business Administration. Post college, Richele moved to Washington, DC, but in January of 2009 she purchased her grandparents' house "Spring Maples" and moved backed to WV for good. While living in DC, Richele served as the Washington Correspondent for Powderhouse Production's Shoetube and as the DC Bargain Hunting Examiner for Examiner.com. Richele has appeared on Channel 8's Let's Talk Live and has covered numerous social events in DC including Fashion for Paws, Ball on the Mall, and the Sneaker Ball. In her free time, Richele enjoys cooking, gardening, home renovations, shopping, and spending time with her menagerie: Dan the horse, Schatze Page the Bernese Mountain Dog, Tiger the cat, and a rogue raccoon or two.
